Full-time, Part-time, and substitute positions are available at our Ozark and Springfield Campuses.
- Shifts are available from 6:15 am to 5:45 pm, Monday – Friday.

Free child enrollment in childcare for ages over 24 months (if space is available).

Full-time positions are eligible for benefits, which can include medical, dental, vision, and retirement.

Certain Part-time positions are eligible for benefits, which include employee-paid telehealth, dental, vision, and retirement.
Available Shifts:
- South Campus – 19 Hires Needed
- 6:45–8:45 AM (1 position)
- 2:45–5:45 PM (7 positions)
- 6:45 AM–3:15 PM (4 positions on various days)
- 8:45 AM–3:00 PM (1 position, T/TH)
- 2:45–5:45 PM (1 position, Fridays)
- 3:00–6:00 PM (1 position)
- 9:30 AM–2:30 PM (1 position)
- Subs needed for M/W/F and T/TH (2 positions)
- West Campus – 6 Hires Needed
- 8:00 AM–5:45 PM (2 positions, M/W/F and T/TH)
- 2:45–3:15 PM (4 positions)
Essential Responsibilities & Duties

Function as a room leader or assistant leader.

Make sure the room is clean, stocked, and in order
-
Oversee classroom (keep class on schedule, make sure diapers are changed, kids go to bathroom, etc.).

Implement the James River Weekday Preschool Curriculum in your classroom.
-
Verify parent and child claim tags match when children are picked up.
-
Assist parents that enter the building to drop off or pick up a child.
-
Facilitate group activities.
-
Develop and maintain relationships with children and parents.
-
Take attendance of children.
-
Follow the NPR guidelines regarding the student-to-teacher ratio with your class at all times.

Follow State guidelines for sanitation requirements in rooms.

Register with Family Care Registry prior to start date.

Provide physical exam results and TB test results prior to the start date.

Attend James River Church Grow Track Classes prior to the start date.

Read License Exempt Rule Book and sign the required statement.

Read the James River Weekday Preschool Teacher Handbook and sign the required statement.

All are required to participate in the following activities:

Attend Scheduled meetings and Training days (paid time)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds.

Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach.

Ability to walk independently up and down a normal flight of 13-15 stairs.

It is a state requirement that certain positions be over the age of 18.

- Attend all regularly scheduled services in the church. Special services and functions will be required as deemed necessary by the Lead Pastor.

- Maintain a Christian outlook and attitude at all times.
- Maintain loyalty to the staff and church, actively promoting unity within the church.
