About James River School
The James River School has three locations in Springfield, MO and Ozark, MO. Our focus is centered on teaching children who God is and how much He loves them – all while they explore physical education, art, music, and science. Kids ministry at James River Church is a core value, so you can be sure that each child that enters our doors will be loved and cared for in a special way. Please note: The Kindergarten through Second Grade programs are offered at our South Campus location only.
James River School
The James River School Preschool program offers children ages 2 – Pre-K the opportunity to learn academics and experience God’s love in a safe, caring environment.
NOTE: Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school is now open.

James River Church
Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
The James River Kindergarten through 2nd Grade program is Monday – Thursday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at the South Campus. Students will learn from certified teachers in small class sizes to ensure individualized attention. Students will also participate in weekly physical education, music, art and science classes. Preschool Academy
The Preschool Academy is a free two-year program for low-income families in Springfield, Missouri. It is more than just a preschool; the Preschool Academy encompasses the whole family with a Christ-centered and family-focused partnership.
