Matthew 24:1-3 NIV
Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
Matthew 24:14 NIV

Revelation 1:3 NIV

Mark 13:31 ESV
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
Mark 13:28-37 ESV
"From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. "But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. Therefore stay awake - for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning - lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake."
Mark 13:28 ESV

But they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.”
1 Thessalonians 5:5-8 ESV
For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.
Matthew 25:12-13 ESV
“But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.”
1st The question concerning the accuracy of God’s Word shouldn’t be “Is His Word true?” But why would people doubt it?
br>
2nd The question concerning the timing of the 2nd Coming shouldn’t be “Why hasn’t it happened yet?” But who isn’t ready yet?
br>
3rd The question concerning the certainty of the 2nd Coming shouldn’t be “Is it going to happen?” But are you ready when it does happen?
