Proverbs 16:1–4a ESV
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established. The LORD has made everything for its purpose…

1. Who Do Your Plans Belong to?

Proverbs 16:1 ESV
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.

Proverbs 16:1 MSG
Mortals make elaborate plans, but GOD has the last word.

2. What Does God See in Your Plans?

Proverbs 16:2 ESV
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirit

Humans are satisfied with whatever looks good; GOD probes for what is good.

3. What Do You Need To Do with Your Plans?

Proverbs 16:3 ESV
Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.
