Mark 3:14–15 (NIV)

15 and to have authority to drive out demons.
Matthew 10:7–8 (NIV)
7 As you go, preach this message: “The kingdom of heaven is near.”
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Luke 9:37–42 (NIV)
“The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him. A man in the crowd called out, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child. A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him. I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not.” “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? Bring your son here.” Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father.”
Luke 13:10–16 (NIV)
“On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God. Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue leader said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.” The Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
Acts 10:38 (NIV)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
Job 2:7 (NIV)

Luther recognized the need for deliverance and understood that it often led to healing.

The most common biblical word is daimonizomai (Greek)
Ephesians 4:26–27 (NIV)
26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
There are 3 things that open people’s lives to demonic activity (outside of actual occult activity):
1. Emotional feelings
2. Substance abuse
3. Sexual sin
Demonic activity can happen through involvement with fraternal orders.
* Masons: the masonic “god” is a combination of Jehovah, Baal, Osiris.
* Mason is told to pursue the real name of God.
* This name is Jahbulon: Jehovah, Baal and Osiris.
* 18th degree embracing Pelican witchcraft and Kabala.
* 30th degree embracing reincarnation.
* 31st degree oaths to the false trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
* Shriners take oaths to Allah.
* 33rd degree oath declaring Lucifer is God.
1 Corinthians 6:16, 18 (NIV)
16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”
