There is Joy in the Journey

1st Joy comes by remembering the good in life
Philippians 1:1-5 ESV

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
2nd Joy comes by recognizing God is doing a work in each of us
Philippians 1:6 ESV
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
3rd Joy comes through relationships with other believers
Philippians 1:7-8 ESV
It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.
4th Joy comes when we pray for others
Philippians 1:4, 9-11 NIV
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy… And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
1. He prays they will grow in love
