Oh, He even sees me in the dark! At night I am immersed I the light! It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you.
What is darkness?
When your eyes can not see; concealed, concealed, hidden, mysterious
1. Different Types of Darkness
Darkness of Sin: Absence of Righteousness– The light is Jesus/Salvation
John 3:19-20 NLT
God’s light came into the world (Jesus), but people loved darkness (their sin) more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.

Darkness of Trials: Absence of ease & comfort – The light is God’s presence

Darkness of Night: Absence of Sunshine – The light is the morning

- Teaches you that “things” aren’t really that important
- You learn to empathize and care for others - helps you understand what they are going through
- Where new dreams and ideas are conceived
