Qavah:
1. To tarry, wait (for, on, upon)
2. To bind together by twisting
1st Step: Understand how big God is
br>
Isaiah 40:25-26 MSG
“So—who is like me? Who holds a candle to me?” says The Holy. Look at the night skies: Who do you think made all this? Who marches this army of stars out each night, counts them off, calls each by name—so magnificent! so powerful!—and never overlooks a single one?
2nd Step: Realize even though God is big, He is very interested in you and your situation
br>
Isaiah 40:27 MSG
Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying, “God has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”?
3rd Step: Remember what you know about God
br>
Isaiah 40:28 MSG
Don’t you know anything?Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out.
4th Step: God will miraculously strengthen you
br>
Isaiah 40:29 NLT
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless
5th Step: God understands that even the strongest of people can get tired
br>
Isaiah 40:30 NLT
Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.
Psalms 103:14 NLT
For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.
Isaiah 40:31 ESV
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength
Psalms 27:14 KJV
Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psalm 37:34 MSG
Wait passionately for GOD, don’t leave the path. He’ll give you your place in the sun
Psalms 40:1 NLT
I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.
6th Step: If we look to God with anticipation, we will receive supernatural strength & power
br>
Isaiah 40:31 MSG
