Walking in God’s Will for Your Life
Hebrews 13:20-25
Ephesians 5:17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
Romans 12:2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
1 Thessalonians 4:3 God's will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.
Hebrews 13:20-21 May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1. God’s Will is Found in Knowing Him
2 Peters 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise... [He is] not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

2. God Wants to Equip You to Do His Will

Judges 6:11-14 Then the angel of the LORD came and sat beneath the great tree at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash of the clan of Abiezer. Gideon son of Joash was threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress to hide the grain from the Midianites. The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, "Mighty hero, the LORD is with you!". "Sir," Gideon replied, "if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn't they say, 'The LORD brought us up out of Egypt'? But now the LORD has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites." Then the LORD turned to him and said, "Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!"

3. God’s Will is Ultimately About Pleasing Him
Hebrews 13:21 ...and may he work in us what is pleasing to him,

2nd Show Hospitality
3rd Help the Hurting
4th Stay Sexually Pure
5th Content
6th Pursuing Spiritual Growth
7th Not ashamed of Christ
8th Worship God as a Lifestyle
9th Honor Spiritual Leaders
4. God’s Will is Accomplished Together
Hebrews 13:22-25 Brothers, I urge you to bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written you only a short letter. I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been released. If he arrives soon, I will come with him to see you. Greet all your leaders and all God's people. Those from Italy send you their greetings. Grace be with you all.
You cannot walk in God’s will for your life if you aren’t meeting needs and serving others in the church.
Numbers 6:22-26 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with this special blessing 'May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.'
Numbers 6:27 "So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them."
