When You Invest You Get Blessed
Brandon Lindell
Scripture
Matthew 25:14-15
Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone. He gave five bags of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his trip.

Main Idea
The truth is that God owns everything we have, and He calls us to invest what He’s entrusted to us into His kingdom, especially through building the local church. When we give generously, God multiplies our investment. How we view God shapes how we give and seeing Him as generous leads to faith-filled investment. Ultimately, the principle is simple, when you invest in God’s work, you position yourself to be blessed and to make an eternal difference.
1. Everything We Have Belongs to Jesus
When we understand that the money we have belongs to Jesus, it makes us more effective givers, which means we will be more blessed.
When we shift to the perspective that everything belongs to God, how does that change the way we view and use our finances? How does this increase our joy?
2. When We Invest What Jesus Has Given, He Multiplies It
The act of investment activates growth in our finances because biblically we determine the size of our harvest by how much we give.
What did God speak to you in this Blessed sermon series? Moving forward how is it going to change the way you live generously?
