Attitude – Makes All the Difference
Attitude: The mental position you choose to take toward life, circumstances and people.
1. Understand Your Position in Christ
Colossians 3:1-3 NLT
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand – think about the things of heaven, not on the things of earth. For you died to this life and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

2. Commit to Living Like New
Colossians 3:7-10 NLT
You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language...for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. (and attitudes) Put on your new nature (new self), and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

3. Choose to Dress Well
Colossians 3:12 NLT
Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Godly Attitude Characteristics
1. Tenderhearted: Compassionate, delicate, soft heart
2. Kind: compassion combined with generosity
3. Humble: Not demanding and not self-focused
4. Gentle: Meek not weak

Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
