Hebrews 11:8

Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.
Genesis 12:1 (NIV)
The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make 2 your name great, and you will be a blessing. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran. Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. The LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." So he built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.
1. When God wants to do something in your life He says, “Leave”
Genesis 12:1 (NIV)
The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.”
1st God was calling him to first and foremost to a spiritual journey
2nd When God asks us to do something He always starts with the easier and moves to the harder.
2. When God tells you to “leave” He doesn’t always tell you where you are going

4. When God is worshiped our faith is strengthened
